I have just booked for Nottingham, I can't wait.
I am up in the gods though but I have a front row seat, I hope my camera is on form.

Just back from Symphony Hall. Absolutely brilliant night from the National Anthem which topped and tailed the show. I was a little concerned when Laura (resplendent in a beautiful mustard yellow dress) only performed once in the first half, a great "Amazing Grace" duet with Russell. Then in the second half, fears of not seeing enough of Laura were allayed. She returned in a beautiful mauve dress and performed another duet, this time a stunning "White Cliffs Of Dover". Then Russell left her to perform 2 solos of "Born Free" and "Stronger As One", both fantastic performances well-received by the audience. Finally during the rousing finale Russell invited Laura back on stage and, now with a union flag around her shoulders, she joined him in a brilliant "Rule, Britannia". All in all a great night with Laura in fantastic form

Anyone going to any of the shows is in for a treat. The whole show is really good and Laura impressed me enormously. It's fantastic to see the progress she has made since she her solo career. Even the development since we saw her in Peterborough is amazing, she is maturing beautifully as a singer and she looks so much more confident. I wish I could fit in another show in this tour

Hi All,
I attended the concert in Plymouth last Friday and Laura's songlist was the same as reported by Keith.Laura did however wear different dresses,a short blue one in the first half and the same green gown that she wore during the Lee Mead Christmas Show in the second half. Laura was very well received and her confidence on stage shone through. My next concert will be in Thaxted next month.

I have just returned from an amazing evening at Sheffield City Hall. From God Save The Queen to Land of Hope and Glory I feel immensely proud to be British right now! Russell & Laura were joined by Capitol Voices Choir and the fantastic Manchester Concert Orchestra conducted by the fantastic Robert Emery.
This is the set list, I am not sure it is 100% accurate as I was unsure on a couple of Russell’s songs, and it may be slightly out of order, but I think it is more or less there.
RUSSELL God Save The Queen Abide With Me Danny Boy Swing Low
MCO Nimrod
RUSSELL & LAURA Amazing Grace
RUSSELL Ave Maria You Raise Me Up You'll Never Walk Alone
INTERVAL
RUSSELL Race to the End Bridge Over Troubled Water We are the Champions
MCO Dambusters March
RUSSELL & LAURA White Cliffs of Dover
LAURA Born Free Stronger As One
RUSSELL Calon Lan. Flower of Scotland Jerusalem Land of Hope and Glory
RUSSELL & LAURA Rule Britannia
ENCORE (RUSSEL) Caruso World In Union
It was only this week that I decided to come to this concert and I am so glad that I did. Those of you with Facebook may already know that that there was a baking competition on Laura’s Facebook page to win a pair of tickets to this tour... so I made a cheese cake and won! I picked Sheffield as my prize!
Laura was just fantastic and I think her voice is just getting better and better. She may have performed just the one duet with Russell in the first half, a fantastic performance of Amazing Grace, but she returned in the second half for two more superb duets with Russell, The White Cliffs of Dover and Rule Britannia, she also performed Stronger As One and an absolutely stunning rendition of Born Free which for me was one of the highlights.
This was the first time that I have seen Russell Watson perform live and what a character he is, a typical Mancunian in a way and he loves to have fun with the audience. I enjoyed watching him, he has a really fantastic voice and I am looking forward to seeing him again next week in Nottingham with Laura.
After the show I headed around to the stage door and met Laura there, we chatted for a bit and I had my photo taken with her. I will post that photo, along with others that I took during the concert when I return home tomorrow!

Glad you had a good time, Darren. The set list looks similar to Russell's Jubilee Gala concert at the Royal Albert Hall a few weeks ago with Natasha Marsh, but obviously Laura's two solos were different. Yes, Russell certainly enjoys playing to the audience.

Hi Dazza,
Thanks for your review and song list. Just spotted your deliberate mistake though.
Russell didn't do Bring Him Home / Volare / Funiculi Funicula (I know he usually does these).
He did do Ave Maria after Nimrod and then You'll Never Walk Alone ended the first half.
He also included Caruso and World in Union by way of encore and playoff.
Glad you enjoyed it. I certainly did.
