Celebrity Soprano, Laura Wright, and Wattisham Military Wives Choir to perform at Film Night Spectacular -
Suffolk born Laura Wright, best-selling soprano, is announced as the special guest artist for the Film Night Spectacular in Christchurch Park on Saturday 6th July 2013 hosted by Brian Blessed. Wattisham Military Wives Choir will also be performing in the park for a pre-concert performance. From Bond and Mission Impossible to Jurassic Park and the Great Escape, The Film Night Spectacular, with a firework finale is set to be one of the highlights of the Summer.
Suffolk born Laura Wright is excited to be performing at the event, "Suffolk in the summer is a wonderful place to be and the Film Night in Christchurch Park, Ipswich is set to be a great evening for all the family. I'm looking forward to working with Brian Blessed after meeting him at other events and seeing his wonderful work, he really does have an amazing film career. I think it will be a rather special night, I'm really looking forward to performing some of my favourite songs in my home county."
Anna Lewis (Performance Coordinator), Wattisham Military Wives Choir quote: "We're very much looking forward to performing in Christchurch Park in July. We've been lucky enough to sing at some incredible events to date and the combination of film music, Brian, Laura and fireworks sounds like a perfect combination. I'm sure it will be fabulous night."
The event will be one of the highlights of Ip-art 2013. Gates will open at 6pm to enable ticket holders to enjoy their picnics prior to the performance which commences at 8pm.
