Laura is a guest at this concert at London's Southbank Centre on 2nd December. The Huawei Winter Concert features Alfie Boe with his band, Laura Wright, the Tiffin Boys' Choir and the London Philharmonic Orchestra. Hi all, is anyone going to this concert tomorrow night?
A few of us will be meeting up at Giraffe on the Southbank around 6pm if anyone wants a bite to eat before the show.

It was an excellent concert thanks, Martin. Laura performed with the London Philharmonic Orchestra during the first half, the second half was Alfie Boe and his band. Not really an Alfie Boe fan but I have to admit he was very good, especially his excellent rapport with the audience. Laura sang five songs in total. Born Free Someone to Watch Over Me Benedictus White Christmas The Dimming of the Day (duet with Alfie) We waited at the stage door after the concert and managed a brief word with Laura as she was leaving for a post concert party. All in all it was a great night's entertainment Graham |
