Hi Gordon I'll look forward to photos and report. Unfortunately, mid-week and in particular Wednesday's are difficult for me.
Cheers Martin

Hi Everyone, I would love to see Laura in her home town especially after missing last years concert there but long distance midweek concerts are the most difficult. If I have holidays remaining closer to the time it is a possibility though. Laura has performed with James Edwards before, this was their stunning performance of Brindisi at Hampton Court Palace in 2012. www.youtube.com/watch?v=CdVyLlSLlK4&Dazza

Great photos, Steve. The clarity is amazing.
I believe that Gordon is going to post a report when he returns from his short holiday.

Great photos, Steve. The clarity is amazing. I believe that Gordon is going to post a report when he returns from his short holiday. Martin Hi Folks, Let me add my thanks to Steve for the excellent photos and for his company at the Concert. As Steve has mentioned this Opera Gala also included James Edwards Tenor and Richard Morrison Baritone accompanied by The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. For the first half Laura wore the green gown and sang the following pieces; Polonaise from Eugene Onegin by Tchaikovsky Dido's Lament from Dido and Aeneas by Purcell O mio babbino caro from Gianni Schicchi by Puccini For the second half Laura wore a sparkly gown and sang; Somwhere from West Side Story by Bernstein and All I Ask of You from Webber's The Phantom of the Opera as a duet with the Tenor James Edwards. After the concert Steve and I had to hurry off but Steve did manage a short chat with Laura's Dad on the way out. Gordon
