Hi All,
Is it true that Laura is in concert over the next 4 days? I can't find any real information or news anywhere other than here! Also G4 had an Easter sale (25% off) and whilst tickets have sold well they have not sold out.

Yes, Laura is appearing over the next four days as detailed on this site. Further details and tickets are found on the individual venue websites. Sales are not brilliant with only 50 - 60% of tickets being sold to date. For some reason the dates are not on Laura's website Laura-Wright.co.uk Martin

Hi Martin
I see that Laura has recently posted a photo of herself at the Lighthouse in Poole ahead of tonight's concert - looking good!

Just back from Croydon, where Laura sang just one solo 'World in Union' in the first half. Sorry for the poor focus, but it is the best one I have to show Laura's outfit. She then joined the boys for 'One Day More' from Les Mis, as part of their medley to round off before the interval. In the second half, Laura joined them again (having changed) for a powerful rendition of 'Barcelona'.

Thanks for the photos John. I'm surprised that Laura only sang one solo but at least she joined in two other songs.

Many thanks for the photos John. I saw the concert in Ipswich on Monday, the outfits and the songs were the same. Although G4 did a signing session afterwards Laura did not appear.

Hi All, Shame Laura only sang one song and what a short night that was - even Laura left early. Got to say that G4 sure go for it and are very fan friendly. However the best performance of the night went to the couple of hundred singers at the back of the stage who probably paid to sing on the night ie Rock Choir who sang Respect originally recorded by Erasure! It has just been announced that Faryl Smith will be the guest artist on 7th and 8th April, at Dorking and London. Laura will only be doing 4 shows, from April 3-6. Not that I have any objection to seeing Faryl again, but don't these concert organizers realize how many people book to see the support act? It is a somewhat annoying. I see from Laura's website that she is at Aintree for the Grand National on the 9th April. Can't remember if this was already planned or an additional date which might have influenced her decision to pull out of the 7th/8th April concerts?Anyway there's always the Gala for St George at the RAH on the 30th April (hopefully!). Graham Well, looks like I was right and Laura has had a better offer. She has just posted on FB that she's performing at Aintree over the next couple of days culminating in a performance of the National Anthem on Grand National day. More money in Liverpool than London I guess. Glad those that saw her with G4 enjoyed her performances. Graham

Hi All,
Laura signed up as official Ladies Day Ambassador and at that time took on quite a lot to do over these next few days. The booking for G4 got cut short and realistically is probably a good outcome for her. I think previous comments, including mine, have been diplomatic. Singing "World in Union" to the usual backing track and being overwhelmed by the four voices in G4 for two "powerful" & "climatic" songs didn't make it a great outing for a Laura fan. I think that explains in part why there was very little promotion about her involvement. For goodness sake Laura even left before the end of the show!
I think the much better deal will be the St Georges event with hopefully a better range of songs and a live orchestra.

Many thanks for the explanation Michael.
It will be interesting to see how Faryl Smith fares tomorrow night at Cadogan Hall. Her voice is somewhat less developed than Laura's so I hope they take that into consideration in the choice of songs.
