G4 UK Tour 2016

Laura is a guest of this tour at Cadogan Hall London on Friday 8th April. Tickets are priced at £28.50.

I am trying to find out if Laura is on any of the other tour dates.

Laura is confirmed to appear at the first six concerts from 3rd - 8th April only. Namely, Poole, Ipswich, Croydon, Skegness, Dorking and London (Cadogan Hall).

It has just been announced that Faryl Smith will be the guest artist on 7th and 8th April, at Dorking and London. Laura will only be doing 4 shows, from April 3-6.
Not that I have any objection to seeing Faryl again, but don't these concert organizers realize how many people book to see the support act?

Now booked for Croydon on 5th April as well - still plenty of good seats available.
That's three times now I will be seeing G4 on this tour - they might start to think I am a fan of theirs

It is a somewhat annoying.

I see from Laura's website that she is at Aintree for the Grand National on the 9th April. Can't remember if this was already planned or an additional date which might have influenced her decision to pull out of the 7th/8th April concerts?

Anyway there's always the Gala for St George at the RAH on the 30th April (hopefully!).

The Cadogan Hall website too is now showing Faryl as the guest. Someone at Rocket Music needs to get their knuckles wrapped!

The Aintree date has been on Laura's website since the beginning of the year so I do not think it has been a factor unless Laura has realised that she wants more preparation time at Aintree.

The official G4 tour poster on their Facebook page has also been changed to show Faryl on 7 - 8 April. There are no September dates showing though.

I think you may have a good case to get a refund from Cadogan Hall. Their t's and c's state:

Refunds are only available in the event of a cancellation or if the event has substantially changed.

All exchanges and returns are at the discretion of the Box Office Manager.

Worth a try anyway.

Thanks for the info, Martin.

I am still in two minds as to whether or not to try for a refund so thought I'd email Cadogan Hall. Easier said than done, I couldn't find a contact email address on their website. So instead I've posted on their FB page - if I hear anything I'll let you know
