You can e mail requests in to many of the programmes on Lyric Fm.
Ask them to play Laura for your friends and family in Ireland or listening online.
Mention family names and places in Ireland if you can.
and while you are at it send in one for Hayley Westenra.

Scarborough Fair was played this morning.
With some background information and a mention of Laura's work with John Rutter.
I think if you look around on the Lyric FM site there is a listen again facility.

The Water is Wide was Marty's last selection of the week at 9:05
Curious, My copy is a 12 track, The Water is wide is not listed on it.
Oh silly me, it is listed as Oh Waly Waly,
I wonder why they did not list it as (The water is Wide) as well.
Sometimes when people are buying an album they are looking for, or will buy it for a specific track.
If you want more of Laura's tracks played on Lyric FM you will have to send in requests by e mail. Just let them know you are listening on line in "Your Town"
Liz Nolan at lunch.lyricfm@rte.ie is very obliging and will often play requests unless the programme is a pre planned live event from the National Concert Hall or something similar.
The drive time programme can often oblige as well classic.lyricfm@rte.ie

Prime listening time, with all the people stuck in traffic,
Marty also mentioned he may be having a chat with Laura on air soon

Down by the sally gardens was played by Marty Whelan at about 9:45 this morning.
Marty has also being playing a lot of Katherine Jenkins tracks from her new album Daydream. He was chatting with her on air for several days in a row and playing music selected by her each day.

Laura's Down by the sally gardens was played this morning just before 11am on The Music Box presented by Trish Taylor.
Down by the Salley Gardens (Irish: Gort na Saileán) is a poem by William Butler Yeats published in The Wanderings of Oisin and Other Poems in 1889.

I E- Mailed Marty yesterday about about Twiggy's new album and I also mentioned that I had not heard him play any tracks from Laura's new album.
This morning about 8:45 he played Benedictus on air.
