Put a request in for Benedictus yesterday morning with Marty, while he was in a Karl Jenkins type humour and he played it this morning

Hi Guys, THIS POST IS AIMED AT YOUIf any of you folks have a few minutes to spare, send off an email and request some of Laura's songs to be played on the radio here in Ireland, The more airplay she gets the more likely we are to get her a bit of attention and maybe a concert in the National Concert Hall here in Dublin. RTE Lyric FM - Marty in The Morning some names worth a try are Marty Whelan and Niall Carroll, If you have relatives here in Ireland, give them a mention. I'll try and let you know if I hear any of your requests going out on air.

Our man George Hamilton from RTE Lyric FM is broadcasting The Hamilton Scores from Twickenham prior to the England V Italy rugby match, Laura Wright can be heard in the background rehearsing Jerusalem. George played an appropriate song for Saint Valentine's Day for a young recently married couple I know very well There's A Sparkle in Your Eyes By Hayley Westenra & Helmut Lotti He mentioned he might play something by Laura, I suggested Benedictus because Laura does one of the finest versions of it ever recorded. I will try to update with playback links later RTE Lyric FM or have a root yourself HERE
