Hi all, Firstly I have to say what a wonderful concert at Peterborough. Laura was on top form and it was great to meet other forum members too. Steve, great pictures taken under very tricky lighting conditions. Here are some of my efforts...

Hi Graham, It was good to meet you on Saturday, your photo's look great. The yellow lighting is always a problem with photo's inside a church or venue not designed for concerts! Steve

Thanks for the pictures. If I'd known for sure that I was going more than a few hours beforehand and realised how easy-going everyone would be about pictures, I would have taken along my SLR, especially shooting from the front row although would have to be more careful that close with the SLR because it's not as silent as the efforts of you guys

My thanks to Steve and Graham for the excellent photos taken during the concert on Saturday.Laura did remark afterwards that she appreciated that consideration was given and no flash was used during the performance. It was the first time that The Toki Quartet had accompanied Laura,I was very impressed with their performance and of course Laura sang beautifully as usual. It was good that Laura was able to spend time with us after the concert and I made a point of asking her what her involvment would be in the forthcoming concerts. She said that she would be performing two songs at the Carols at Holy Trinity Concert on Thursday and would be singing lots of carols during Lee Mead's Merry Christmas at The Barbican on 22nd December. On the dates she will be on the Alfie Boe Tour she will be performing two song in each half and also a duet.I had hoped to attend the Ipswich concert but this is now sold out but it will of course be great publicity for Laura in her home territory. However,I have booked to see the other concerts I have mentioned and which I am now looking forward to.
