Laura kindly donated her time to give a concert to 30 lucky people who won tickets in Classic FM's 2011 Christmas appeal in aid of the Classic FM Foundation. The foundation funds projects that provide music education and therapy to children across the UK.
The concert took place on the rooftop terrace of the Capitol - Classic FM building in Leicester Square London and the Forum was represented by Myself, Dazza, Martin & Gordon.
To set the scene here are some photographs taken in and from the rooftop terrace.Steve H

Hi Steve, Thanks for your wonderful photos, they came out very well considering the lighting. It was a beautiful concert in front of an audience of about 30-40 on Classic FM's rooftop terrace with the backdrop of London's skyline. While we were waiting in the very plush reception area there was lots going on. Classic FM share the building with a number of other radio stations so people were in and out all the time, we even caught a glimpse of Myleene Klass leaving towards the end. Before we were taken up to the rooftop we were given a quick tour of the Classic FM studio where John Brunning was live on air. The terrace was beautifully laid out, very spacious with big soft chairs for the audience. It was certainly different. Before Laura was introduced we were given a quick introduction to the Classic FM Foundation and the work that they do, raising money to fund music education for youngsters and that Laura was performing the concert free for the foundation. Laura was absolutely stunning, being so close and intimate you could really hear and feel the depth, tone and beauty of her voice. Laura performed six songs altogether. Last Rose Of The Summer My Bonnie Lies Over The Ocean New Song (Didn't Catch The Name?) Danny Boy Born Free Jerusalem After the concert Laura came down to meet us in the reception area to sign CD's and have photos taken. It was short but so worth it, it was a privilege to be at this concert. Here are my photos from the evening. Dazza

Many thanks to Steve and Dazza for your reports and photos and to Martin who invited me along. It was great to be part of a special evening and in such a wonderful setting, If I recollect correctly the third song which Laura sang was My Bonnie Lies Over the Ocean from The Last Rose CD.
