Hi Gordon Thanks for the "heads up". Singer Emeli Sandé is also appearing.
I will have to think about this one since I have already booked for two other charity carol concerts in December!
Cheers Martin

Hi All,
Just a short report on the above concert held for the benefit of the Nordoff Robbins Music Therapy Charity last Tuesday. The doors of St Luke's Church Sydney St London SW3 were due to be opened at 6.15 for a 7pm concert and when I arrived shortly before 6pm I was met by Graham who had just joined the queue.Upon being admitted we were advised that the first dozen rows had been reserved but we took our seats in the next available pew. Apart From Christmas Carols for all to join in,the evening consisted of songs from Laura,Emeli Sande and The Dragon School Choir. Various personalities such as Dame Eileen Atkins,Elizabeth McGovern and Bill Nighy also gave readings appropriate to the Season.Laura wearing a long black dress sang Stronger As One and The Last Rose to a backing track. The concert ended around 8.15 after which Graham and I waited to see Laura after she had finished signing autographs and having her photo taken with members of the Dragon School Choir. As a Christmas Gift we both gave Laura a box of chocolates and and to our surprise discovered that we had both bought the same brand. After saying our goodbyes to Laura , Graham and I then left the Church to enjoy mulled wine and mince pies outside before making our separate ways home.

Hi Gordon, Thanks for your great report on the Christmas concert, It sounds as if you had a great evening out, I am sorry that I could not make that one, its was a busy time for me running up to Christmas this year and I have had 'man flu' too. Cheers Steve
