What a beautiful concert this was, it was my first time at the Birmingham Symphony Hall and it is a stunning venue with wonderful acoustics. The Midland Hospitals Choir were fantastic and I am definitely in the Christmas spirit now.
Laura was in fantastic form and was absolutely stunning wearing a beautiful red dress. In the first half she performed Ave Maria, Chariots of Fire and I Vow To Thee My Country, before returning in the second half with Born Free and Stronger As One before asking the audience to join in with Land of Hope and Glory. She returned for an encore of O Holy Night with the choir.
I managed to have a little chat with Laura after the concert and I gave her a Christmas card too, it was so lovely to see her again. I was able to get some photos which I will post later today.
